December, the least popular month to have a wedding, happens to be the most popular month for engagements! If you are a Bride to be and considering an engagement portrait session by BKG Photography, first off Congratulations are in order! We at BKG would like to provide you with some tips for your engagement photo ideas: Engagement photography sessions are an opportunity for the Bride and Groom to develop a relationship with the photographer and for the photographer to get to know the personality and style that is best for the couple. For many couples the engagement session is the first time they have formally posed in front of a camera. This is a great warm up session for the wedding day. Location, Location, Location! Photographers always have their favorite locations to take pictures. We advise our clients to come with a list of special places to them. Where they first met, the place they had their first date or even the location where they got engaged.
In the picture above, Alyssa and Bill had a Christmas Engagement Portrait Session right here in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania! Pictures from this session allowed the couple to relax, be themselves and develop a relationship prior to the wedding day with our photographer Brian. This shoot was in Milford, PA with many photographs taken at Grey Towers National Historic Site, a favorite location of the photographer.
